God, That's fast. July's coming to an end. *groans* July, has been very much eventful. Woah. Understatement of the year. In fact, this whole of July I've been feeling really really happy. And I guess I'm not the only one. Priyaa, would be, too. And trust me, she has much more reasons than I do, to be happy :D I'll bet July2010 is her most favourite month of the year. Haha. I've come to realise, how much I love and treasure my family and friends. And as much as we've had our differences, petty fights, tonnes of misunderstandings, I love my friends alot. :D Honestly. And I thank God for blessing me with the presence of people I'll always love. Rashidha, Priyaa, Divya, Mariyah= *heart shaped fingers*-Mariyah's signature , no? (: Anyway, was thinking hard the other day, and I began writing this. Not really classic poetry. But it's from me.Something I wanna express, from deep within. And I just felt like posting it up. So yeah. "Take a moment, Make a wish. Think of God, And all that He's done.
The reason for your very existence, The purpose. The deeds you've done, the sins committed.
And after all those, What are we worth?
When our bodies are buried beneath this soil. When our flesh rots to feed. When we finally dissolve to nothingness. When we're left with merely our souls.
So why are we here? What have we done? What's gonna happen, Once we're gone?
So take moment, To think and reflect. Take a moment, Make a wish." -fiqah. God loves us. Every single one of us. Good or bad, rich or poor, ugly or beautiful, He doesn't see the difference. We're all His beautiful creation, His gifts. We're all loved. So throw away all worries and smile, `cause at the end of the day, someone up there still loves us, despite all our imperfections. WC2010 Finals: Holland-Spain. Who would have ever thought of it ? :/

that's soccer.
[A world cup not to be forgotten; full of unexpected turnouts.] Haha. What a world cup. I supported 3 teams. Argentina, Germany and Brazil. And I was super confident that Argentina was gonna ace it this year. Well, partially because they'd get to keep the cup. But. Both Argentina and Brazil are out. Wait. I'm not gonna wail. To be honest, Brazil did not try hard enough. In fact, I was shocked with their performance against Holland. It was so not a match I wanted to see. Holland's main aim was to get Brazil frustrated. Which they succeeded in doing. Brazil may have scored the first goal. But they got all complacent. The rest of the game, well, I don't know what to say. They allowed 2 goals to pass through. And towards the end of the match, they were showing their temper. Which was pointless actually. Match ended in 2-1. Last night, Hussain bro came over to watch the Germany-Argentina match. To be honest, I wanted Argentina to win. So did dad and bros. But to me, it didn't really matter even if Germany won. Cause, after all they're a great team. And I do like them, though not as much as Argentina. But you've got to give it to them, it was a good match, with Germany playing exceptionally awesome-ly. Haha. I enjoyed the match, though Argentina got owned 4-0. Sad, I was. But they did their best. Problem is, there was a hole in their defense. Whereas, Germany's defense was damn strong. If it was Paraguay, Argentina would've been in the semis now. Spain just got lucky. Anyhow, they'd be facing Germany next. Haha, farewell Spain. We'll miss you, yeah? And c'mon Spain supporters, you have really no idea who they're going against right? (: Did you guys watch them play with Paraguay? Aw, C'mon man. You know they don't stand a chance against the Germans. That's for sure. I really have to compliment the German team though, it has much improved from than last year's. Especially Klose, Podolski and Muller. They're great players. Klose, especially, wow. He's dangerous man. And after seeing comments on fb about the ref being bribed and all, I feel I have to say something. Please lah people, you guys really think Fifa will let that slip by? No way man. It's highly unlikely for that to happen, so stop blaming the ref if your team loses. Accept it. Soccer's like that. All's fair. I too, supported Argentina. But fate has it that they lose. So be it. Just accept it if the other team plays well. Anyway, my point is. With Argentina being out in the quater finals, and Brazil too, I'm left with supporting Germany. I hope to see them carry the cup this year :D But then again, there's Holland and Uruguay which should never be underestimated. Spain? Hah. Forget it. Well, whoever wins, it's surely an unexpected WC we're having this year. Well, that's soccer. The ball is round, after all. (; Thursday, June 24, 2010 5:00 PM
"I wanna play a game ;"
I'm currently addicted to two things; The movie SAW and Zain Bikha's nasheeds. No link, I know. One's a gory film filled about torturing people mercilessly and the other is about songs praising Allah. Funny:D I'll tell you why I'm loving them. Firstly, SAW. Hahha, for those who've watched any of the parts of the SAW saga, you guys would've known what the storyline's all about. For those who haven't, don't worry I'm not gonna spoil it for you. Go watch it. It's gruesomely awesome :D But it's not for the faint hearted though. Or those who find blasting, sawing, slashing, digging out or breaking of any body parts disgusting, for that matter. Just a warning. (: But that's not why I love the movie. It's the entire plot that I find creative and original. It's something new. Especially the endings of each part. They're totally unexpected and I love that. You spend the entire time watching the movie, thinking about what's gonna happen in the end. But you'll never figure it out, you'll be kept in anxious suspense. I'd rate it four and a half stars. My personal favourite is SAW I, but in terms of the death traps, I find SAW II cool. Over all, the movie's wicked. (; Coming to Zain Bikha, well, his singing is awesome. The second thing, is the fact that he doesn't even need music for his songs. His voice itself sounds like music. Serious. Check out his songs and you'll know what I mean. (; Third thing, the lyrics. So damn true. Especially from the song "Which of Allah's favours can we deny?" It's friggin nice. (: Anywaay, Argentina has gotten into the round of 16 with the full 9 points babeyyh! ~ ARGENTINA FTW! ;D Alrighttys, food is calling out to me. Heh. Adios. Wednesday, June 23, 2010 10:30 AM

FIFA FEVER;
I'm baaack. *sings* Homework still unfinished. Was too busy enjoying myself in Malaysia. Heh. Watched most of the world cup matches at the coffeeshop. TV3 cheated on me. I thought they would screen it. They didn't. -.- Ah well, it was fun watching it with a crowd anyway. Argentina's awesome. So is Brazil. But Germany's last match was dissapointing. S'okay. They'd better win Ghana though. They trashed Aussies but lost to the Serbs. Heartache. Haiz. It's been a world cup full of surprises. And more will come. I'm just waiting for England to fall flat on their face. I'm friggin laugh my arse off man. Oooh, I got myself an Argentina jersey. NO.10 babeyyh! LIONEL MESSI! *screams* He's spells a.m.a.z.i.n.g on the field. Next Maradona, no doubt :D [Gonzalo Higuain.No.9.Argentina.] [Carlos Vela. No.7.Mexico.] [Kaka.No.10.Brazil.] [Lionel Messi.No.10.Argentina.] |
